One of my favorite television shows of all time is FINALLY being released on DVD..."Ally McBeal"! The complete series is already available for preorder on Amazon.com, along with Season 1 individually. I am SO EXCITED! I've been waiting for this for years. I could never understand why so many god-awful shows and series that most people have never heard of have been available on DVD for years, and until now, "Ally McBeal" has only been released in the form of a crappy gift set that contains five or six random episodes. Supposedly it has to do with royalties on the music that was featured on the program, but that sounds kind of ridiculous to me. Regardless, I cannot wait to get my hands on this show!

I'm sure everyone's aware of the David Letterman/Sarah Palin feud that's been playing out in the media over the past week. In a nutshell, Letterman made a wisecrack about Palin's daughter, and Palin got her undies in a bundle and made a huge stink about it, probably because that beast will do just about anything to keep herself in the news.

From now on, she'll be known as "Chaz Bono."
I don't even know what else to say on the topic, other than I wonder if Cher follow suit. When I was little, I always thought she was a man.

I do! I mean, who doesn't?!
If you're a fan of the blonde James Bond, you can get him in the form of a special "License to Chill" ice pop The Daniel Craig popsicle comes in three delicious flavors and has less than 100 calories each. What's not to love?!
I only have one question: are George Clooney Fudgesicles on the horizon? One can only hope!

Singer and Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson is reportedly almost seven months pregnant with her first child. The father is Hudson's fiance, lawyer/wrestler David Otunga. What happy news! This girl needs some positive things happening in her life. It's hard to believe that it's only been about eight months since her mother, brother, and nephew were all tragically murdered in Chicago. I'm so glad to see that Jennifer is coping so well and embracing her life. Congrats to the mom- and bride-to-be!

Do you realize that this Friday, Jay Leno will broadcast his very last episode of "The Tonight Show?"
Do you really care? Does anyone, for that matter?
I'm surprised by the lack of media hype surrounding Leno's departure. After all, he's hosted the show for 17 years. But this is a weird situation in that Leno announced the date of his retirement almost five years ago. That was done just so NBC could keep Conan O'Brien from jumping networks by offering him the role of Leno's successor. Also, Leno isn't even leaving NBC. He'll be hosting some random prime time comedy show on NBC next fall. The whole thing is just so anticlimactic.

I haven't written about all the media hoopla surrounding the stars of the reality show "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" because, quite frankly, I don't really care. I've never seen the show, but I haven't been able to avoid watching these two people bitch about each other and their marriage on the news because they are ALL OVER television, the Internet, and the tabloids. I am getting sick and tired of listening to their whining. Obviously, I feel bad if anyone's marriage falls apart, but these idiots have put their lives completely out there for the world to see with their stupid show. What did they think would happen if their relationship went sour? And how dare they complain about they way this is hurting their kids?

Mel Gibson's new girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is reportedly three months pregnant. I guess this explains why Mel's wife finally decided to divorce him. Oh, the drama!

OMG! A Broadway musical based on the television series "The Addams Family" is in the works! The production will star Nathan Lane and (drumroll) Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia Addams! What could be more perfect than that?! New York City, here I come!

...but she's not preggers.
Instead, Sarah Jessica and her husband, Matthew Broderick, will welcome twin girls sometime this summer with the help of a surrogate mother. The couple already have a son, James, who Sarah Jessica gave birth to six years ago. No additional info on why they chose the surrogate route this time around is available, but congrats to the happy couple! I can't wait to see what Carrie Bradshaw's mini-mes will look like.
