Oops, she did it again!

Britney Spears did it! She managed to put all her pantyless antics aside and generate another number one album. "Circus," which was just released a week ago, has already sold more than half a million copies and is at the top of the charts. I am thoroughly impressed (and may have actually downloaded a couple of Brit-Brit's new songs from iTunes...hey, they're catchy!).

Now the world must wait and see what happens when Britney's world tour kicks off in March. She's "performed" (a.k.a. lip-synced) a few times these last few weeks, and although her figure looked great, she seemed kind of tentative up on stage. Hopefully news of her high album sales will give Britney the confidence she needs to pull off an awesome tour. I am actually tempted to buy tickets to her performance at the Allstate Arena just to see how everything pans out. Britney has been such a train wreck for so long. I never thought she'd be able to snap out of it and win over her fans again. Well, I was wrong. Not only has she won over her fans, but she even got me, her biggest critic, to spend $1.98 on her music! Britney, I'm almost proud of you. Almost.
