2009 celebrity predictions

It's only January 2, which means we have a whole year of celebrity drama to look forward to! What do you think will happen in 2009? Which couples will hook up, break up, and procreate? Who will get arrested for DUI or illegal substence abuse? Which stars will do time in jail or be sent to the looney bin? Let me know your thoughts! Here are a few of my star-studded predictions:

COUPLES THAT WILL HOOK UP

• Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson (hopefully the third time will be the charm!)

• Mel Gibson and Britney Spears (I am still waiting for the juicy details about their quirky "friendship" to be revealed!)

COUPLES THAT WILL SPLIT UP

• John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston (I cannot believe they're still together)

• Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez (supposedly there's a lot of trouble in paradise...)
• Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman (I'm sorry, but this relationship was doomed from the start)

COUPLES THAT WILL PROCREATE

• John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston (yes, I predict that John will dump Jen even though she gets knocked up)

• Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (make way for Suri #2)
• Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (my guess is they'll adopt AND Angie will get pregnant again)
• Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles (although they probably won't acknowledge their child until it's at least nine months old)
• Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi (Portia will carry the child)

STARS THAT WILL GET ARRESTED OR BE THROWN IN JAIL

• Britney Spears (her streak of good luck can't last forever)

• Lindsay Lohan (I predict LiLo will murder that creepy DJ girlfriend of hers)
• Robert Downey, Jr. (he has such a good thing going for him right now...I'm sure he'll eventually screw it up)
• Miley Cyrus (I cannot wait to see that girl's first mug shot!)

STARS THAT WILL SPEND TIME IN MENTAL INSTITUTIONS OR REHAB

• Lindsay Lohan (rehab is her home away from home!)

• Miley Cyrus (god, I hope so!)
• Rod Blagogevich (the man is obviously nutso)
