Is it normal for a man to marry his own sister?!

No...but when that man and woman only portray brother and sister on television, I guess that makes it a little less strange.

Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, who play the brother and sister duo of Dexter and Deborah Morgan on the hit Showtime series "Dexter" (one of my favorite shows, by the way), were married (to each other) on New Year's Eve. How random! I had no idea they were a real-life couple. Supposedly they've worked very hard to keep their relationship a secret and will make their "public debut" at the Golden Globe Awards this Sunday.

My question is, what happened to Michael's first wife, actress Amy Spanger (she guest-starred on an episode of Michael's former HBO series, "Six Feet Under")? I never heard anything about the two of them splitting up. I wonder if Michael's incestuous "Dexter" relationship had anything to do with it...
