Dunaway vs. Duff

Who's the better actress: Faye Dunaway or Hilary Duff? There's no contest, right? Faye Dunaway is a legend, and Hilary Duff is...well, Hilary Duff. That's about it.

Apparently, though, someone out there thinks Hilary's good enough to reprise Faye's classic role of Bonnie Parker in the upcoming remake of "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde." Needless to say, Faye isn't exactly thrilled with her replacement. When she was asked to comment on Hilary's casting, Faye replied, "Couldn't they have at least cast a real actress?" HA! Yes, it was a bit mean-spirited, but she's Faye Dunaway and I can forgive her for being catty. It is pretty insulting.

However, Hilary retaliated with a snarky comment of her own: "I think it [Faye's comment] was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now too." OH, SNAP! I have to admit, I laughed like crazy when I read that. However, maybe Hilary should take a minute to think before she speaks. Surely there must have been a better way to respond to Faye's nasty remark...now Hilary looks like the bigger bitch, even though Faye started the whole thing!
