Ozzie comes clean

If you ask White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen about puppy dogs in just the right way, he'll go off on the poor little pooches. Same thing with global warming, the media, his future, just about anything. Sometime he goes a little overboard, but Guillen makes most of his wild statements for one reason only _ he's trying to spice up a long, long baseball season. Guillen did the same thing as a player. Before Part 1 of the Sox-Cubs series opened Friday, Guillen went on and on about how he hated the cross-town series, Wrigley, even the rats in the batting cages under the bleachers. Don't believe it for a second. After playing around with just about any topic, Guillen usually arrives at the truth at some point. On the Sox-Cubs series, he finally came clean before Sunday night's game. “Believe me, I like it,’’ Honest Oz said. “I talked to the players and said this is the best scenario you can ever have. I've never seen this city so into it for this three-game series and the one next weekend. If this is going to take all of the energy out of you, you've got the wrong job.’’
