Looks like Lou better have some other kind of chat with Marmol after Carlos just gave up a pinch 3-run homer to Rich Aurilia. That's 2 homers to the last three batters Marmol has faced. One has to wonder whether all that work early this season is catching up to Marmol now.
Now what? Does Lou drop Marmol into middle relief and let Wuertz work the seventh? We'll see what Lou has to say afterward.
I'm predicting a short and terse postgame if the Cubs lose.
I'm not sure if it's the work load or the "Rich Hill" syndrome. I guess Wuertz is the choice, though that's not a very comforting thought.
