Alfonso Soriano will play in an Arizona Rookie League game Monday morning at 10:30 in Peoria, Ariz., against the Padres' club. The Cubs hope to get Soriano 6-7 at-bats. The plan remains for him to play for Class AAA Iowa Tuesday. It's possible the Cubs will activate him Wednesday against the D'Backs, one day ahead of schedule. Soriano said this morning his left hand felt fine after batting practice Saturday. "I'm ready to play today, but they want me to do a rehab, so I'm going to do a rehab," he said. "We'll see where we go from there. Yesterday, it was better than the day before, because the first day I hit, on Friday, I was a little scared." Soriano said he'd "like to" play Wednesday but that he'd go along with the Cubs' plans. He also said he felt his power wouldn't be affected, as Derrek Lee's was after his broken wrist. Soriano broke a bone in his left hand June 11. Lou moved Fukudome back up in today's lineup: Theriot, SS Fukudome, RF Lee, 1B Ramirez, 3B Edmonds, CF DeRosa, LF Soto, CF Fontenot, 2B Dempster, P
