FROM NORTHERN ILLINOIS
Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday and parking lots open five hours before
the game.
On the west side of Huskie Stadium, the “Pride” lot (nearest to
Stadium Drive West) is closed and only cars (no RVs) will be allowed in
the VIP and Victory lots. RVs will be parked along Stadium Drive West
with tailgating allowed only in the west grass, not on the street.
Parking in the VIP and Victory lots is at the discretion of the driver.
Individuals who hold passes for those areas may park in any paved lot
without charge.
In addition, the grass area of the Cardinal and Black parking lot
(north of Ralph McKinzie baseball field) is closed to all vehicles.
Parking will be allowed on either side of Stadium Drive North and
tailgating will be permitted on the grass only. The paved section of
the Cardinal and Black Lot is available.
On the east side of the stadium, the Huskie and Red Riot lots are
closed to vehicles. Cars will be parked first on the gravel parking
area next to Mary M. Bell Softball Field and then on Stadium Drive East.
Lot K (entrance off of Lincoln Highway) may also be utilized.
Fans are encouraged to allow extra time to park on Saturday, and that
tailgating will not be permitted on any street. Northern Illinois
Athletics regrets any inconvenience the changes in parking, caused by
rain which began Thursday night and continued into Friday afternoon, may
cause.
