Wolfe out with lacerated kidney
Bears backup running back and special teams standout Garrett Wolfe suffered a lacerated kidney in Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals and could miss up to a month before he returns. Wolfe was in Northwestern Memorial Hospital Monday morning.
Cornerback Charles Tillman’s injured shoulder knocked him out of Sunday’s game in the second quarter, but he is expected to play Thursday night vs. the 49ers in San Francisco.
The Bears have yet to make a determination on rookie strong safety Al Afalava, who suffered what appears to be a shoulder stinger in the second quarter Sunday and did not return.

hope he recovers, but he could probably be replaced with a arena or ufl player
If only Larry Johnson was from Texas, or played college ball in Texas..Lovie would get him here quickly.
Wolfe has been misused and underused by the geniuses that run our team. He's one of the fastest and shiftiest open field runners we have but does he get to utilize his talent properly. No chance. Not with the Einsteins that turned a 3-1 start into a 4-4 record after half the season.
Garrett Wolfe could be something very special but he never gets the chance. If I'm an NFL Gm...i pluck this kid off the Bears and put the ball in his hands 15-20 times a game and you'd see the results. He is a difference maker.
I love that kid.....get well soon Garrett.
What's it going to hurt to bring Johnson in?
I wish him the best of health BUT as far as football goes, it makes no difference, he is just another journeyman player who would probably not make the cut on any good team..like peanut tillman, his absence wont change anything, the team sucks through and through!
