CHICAGO, IL - Six local veterans of the war in Iraq have written to key members of Congress, urging an end to the fear mongering on the issue of detention of guilty terror suspects at Thomson Prison. In letters to Congressmen Mark Kirk and Senator Dick Durbin, the veterans said their experiences lead them to believe that trying the terror suspects and imprisoning the guilty ones at Thomson is essential for national security.
