Golden Globes 2010

Who else watched the Golden Globes last night? I thought it was much more entertaining than it's been in quite some time. Between Ricky Gervais' outlandish jokes, Robert Downey Jr.'s hilarious acceptance speech, and the porcupines growing out of Drew Barrymore's shoulder and hip, I definitely enjoyed watching it. I was shocked that neither Anna Kendrick or Vera Farmiga won Best Supporting Actress for "Up in the Air," and I could not BELIEVE that George Clooney lost out to Jeff Bridges in his category. (Hopefully George will get the last laugh with an Oscar, though.)
What were your favorite (or least favorite) moments from last night?
i normally dont watch these types of shows but my wife does and in a moment of marital bliss i endulged and washed the better 3/4 of this freak show. These people are so out of touch from the normal person it is beyond humor. I used to feel bad for them because it seems society has somewhat villianized the celebrity. Not any more, full speed ahead. Get over yourselves. How dare they preach from their pulpit about giving to the less fortunate and haita when they are draped in diamonds and italian suits drinking moet from their tables. How dare they call for social unity when such a division exists between the tv starts and the movie stars? The ridiculous outfits, sunglasses, horrible surgeries. Their egos should be donated to science fiction. Julia roberts looked terrible, glenn close and brendan fraser should sue their plastic surgeons and harrison ford needs more dirt kicked on him. lose the earring
