Jenks out as closer?

Is Bobby Jenks out as White Sox' closer? Ozzie didn't go that far after Jenks came on in the ninth inning vs. the Blue Jays Sunday afternoon with a 7-5 lead and allowed 4 runs on 4 hits _ including a 3-run homer to leadoff man Fred Lewis. But Ozzie did say: “I think we've got a lot of options.” He does, including left-hander Matt Thornton, who is 2-2 with a 2.45 ERA. Thornton also has 23 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings and a great WHIP of 0.68. How about rookie Sergio Santos, the converted shortstop who's allowed 1 earned run 12 1/3 innings? The Sox threw Jenks into the fire when he came up from Class AA Birmingham in 2005, so why not try it again? The third option is J.J. Putz, who saved 76 games for Seattle in 2006-07. On the downside, he no longer throws 100 mph and has struggled (0-2, 4.91 ERA) with the White Sox for much of the season.
