Sox eyeing Prince Fielder?

Last week, the big rumor was Adam Dunn to the White Sox. This week, it’s Prince Fielder. The nonwaiver trade deadline is just over three weeks away, and you never know what GM Kenny Williams is going to do. “If Kenny thinks we need somebody, he will get it,” Ozzie said before Monday night’s game against the Angels. “Believe me, he will get it.” The popular thinking is Kenny will get a left-handed power bat if he decides to make a move. *Brent Lillibridge is making his second start at second base tonight, with Gordon Beckham taking another seat on the bench. Lillibridge has been great of late, while Beckham was 1-for-8 at Texas. Is this going to be a permanent switch? “(Beckham) is my second baseman,” Ozzie said. “He still is my second baseman. But right now, I think the way Lillibridge is playing, I’m going to give him a shot.” *Omar Vizquel was scheduled to have precautionary X-rays on his left knee Monday. Vizquel was hit a by pitch from Texas’ Scott Feldman Sunday night and had to leave the game.
