What's the best thing about Gavin Floyd's near no-hitter against the Twins Tuesday night? The postgame focus was actually on baseball, and it was a very big early season win for the White Sox. Before the game, and the last few days, all of the attention centered on manager Ozzie Guillen's tirade and, of course, the blow-up doll incident. Here's all I really have to say about the latter _ it was a stupid thing to do. Yes, the dolls were meant to bring a humorous touch to major-league baseball's time-honored "slump-buster'' theory, but why not bring them to the hotel bar or a player's room? Busting the dolls out in the clubhouse, which the media circles like sharks, was just asking for controversy, especially from outlets which love to blow things way out of proportion. Thank you, Gavin Floyd, for restoring the sanity.
