Kirk gets call from Obama

Senator Mark Kirk is tweeting that President Barack Obama gave him a call this morning. Kirk was elected to Obama's old Senate seat over Democrat Alexi Giannoulias by 2 percentage points in November 2010.
Per the Highland Park Republican's staff, the president had reached out via letter shortly after the Highland Park Republican's stroke. This is the first phone call, however.
No indication yet as to what they talked about.
