Jon Anderson, an all-area shortstop at Barrington for the legendary Kirby Smith in the mid-1990s, has been named the new baseball coach at Dundee-Crown after stints as an assistant coach at Jacobs and Bartlett. Anderson played four years at Illinois, spent three years playing in the Red Sox minor league system and finished his professional playing career with a 16-game stint with Rockford in the Frontier League in 2002. Anderson replaces Conant graduate Tommy Parisi, who resigned after one season in charge at D-C.
