Local delegates are here at the Democratic National Convention to get excited about their party, but some suburban attendees say this could just as well be a technology seminar.
"I have learned more about my phone these three days," said delegate Navreet Kaur Heneghan of Lombard.
Delegates are trading tips about organizing and trying to transfer energy to other local voters once they get home.
Delegate Joe Gump of Palatine said he rarely used Facebook before this week but has used it to keep his family and friends apprised of his travels.
"And I'm going to continue to," he said.
