Bloomingdale man "wins" ILGOP trip to see Duckworth

McHenry Tea Partyer Joe Walsh has been having some fun with his 8th District opponent's out-of-town travels.
Walsh's campaign Tuesday announced the "winner" of the Illinois GOP's contest to hear Hoffman Estates Democrat Tammy Duckworth speak at Santa Monica College in California on Thursday - Bloomingdale resident David Rogers. A key Walsh criticism of Duckworth's campaign has been that she frequently holds fundraisers and events out of town.
Rogers will fly to California tomorrow, "enjoy a one night’s stay and dinner, then have the rare chance to hear Tammy Duckworth speak Thursday at Santa Monica College," a release quips.
Rogers notes in the release that he's "excited to finally have the chance to hear Tammy Duckworth."
