SuperPAC ad ties Dold, Biggert to Walsh
A Democratic SuperPAC is tying two Republicans in close congressional races to outspoken Tea Party member Joe Walsh, of McHenry.
In a $2.4 million ad buy that launches today, paid for by Democratic House Majority PAC and labor union SEIU, Reps. Judy Biggert and Bob Dold are accused of "hiding behind Joe Walsh's loud talk."
"Dold and Biggert voted with Walsh against affordable contraceptives and cancer screenings," a voiceover reads.
The ad shows Walsh commenting at a recent town hall that women's rights activist Sandra Fluke should "get a job" and notes Biggert and Dold voted with Walsh against mortgage relieve and to give tax cuts to millionaires.
"Loud" will run in heavy rotation for two weeks.
