Joey Walsh supports dad in new ad:
Congressman Joe Walsh's eldest son, Joey, is featured in a just-released campaign ad, where he decries the ads and mailers released by the McHenry Tea Partyer's congressional opponent, Democrat Tammy Duckworth of Hoffman Estates.
The 25-year-old, who is home from Washington, D.C., to help out with his dad's campaign, spoke out this week at a news conference against Duckworth’s TV commercial, which highlights news articles from the past year reporting on the congressman’s financial troubles, including a lawsuit filed by Walsh’s ex-wife alleging he owed more than $100,000 in child support payments that has since been resolved.
“There’s a name they call you when you don’t pay your bills,” the corresponding mailer reads, “deadbeat Joe.”
Take a look and tell us what you think.
