Early voting is heavy
It appears a lot of you don't want to wait until Election Day to vote.
Cook County Clerk David Orr said today that through the first week of early voting, 97,129 people cast their ballot in the Cook suburbs.
That's a record for the first week of early voting, up 84 percent, Orr says. But his statement goes on to say...
However, comparing against 2008 is tricky because the Early Voting period is different. Early Voting began a week later this year and extends two days longer to the Friday and Saturday before the election.
