Hawks confirm Sharp to miss at least 3 weeks
The Blackhawks confirmed on Friday that winger Patrick Sharp would miss at least three weeks with an injured left shoulder.
Sharp was hurt in the third period of Wednesday's win over Colorado when he was checked hard into the glass by Avs defenseman Ryan O'Byrne.
Meanwhile, Marian Hossa, Andrew Shaw and Michael Frolik all will play in Friday's rematch with the Avs at the Pepsi Center.
Frolik missed the last two games with the flu while Hossa was a late scratch Wednesday with an upper body injury.
Shaw left Wednesday's game in the second period after taking a Paul Stastny elbow in the head.
