More sweet than sticky
Madonna's concert at the United Center last night was FABULOUS! She always puts on a great show. I was a bit disappointed that she didn't sing my favorite song from the "Hard Candy" album, and in my opinion the show wasn't quite as elaborate as her past tours have been (especially the finale), but it was still fantastic. Highlights from the show include:
- The opening number, "Candy Shop," when Madonna made her grand entrance seated on a larger-than-life throne.
- A pulsating performance of "Vogue."
- Madonna pushing a luxury car filled with dancers onto the stage.
- Video cameos by Kanye West, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears ("It's Britney, bitch!").
- "She's Not Me," which featured Madonna kicking the collective asses of four Material Girl impersonators dressed as Madonnas from previous decades.
- "Spanish Lesson," which included a dance routine performed by guys wearing creepy hooded robes.
- A new version of "Borderline," which Madonna sang while wailing away on a purple electric guitar.
I'm pleased to report that there was no Guy Ritchie-bashing on stage, which was reported after a few concerts Madonna performed last week. Instead, Madonna appeared to be quite happy and very much enjoying herself the entire time, which was nice to see. I believe tickets are still available for tonight's show, so snap them up if you can...it will be money well spent!

...it could be true. Then again, if they went to counseling and were told by their therapist to draw up stupid marriage contracts, I'm sure each of them has one...and a lot of good it did them!
