Rideau, Adams will face Rams

Wide receiver Brandon Rideau, who was promoted from the practice squad on Saturday, will be active today against the Rams, as will defensive tackle Anthony Adams, who has been inactive the past three weeks and for seven of the previous 10 games this season. The Bears' inactives today are wide receivers wide receivers Marty Booker, who missed practice all week with a knee injury, and rookie Earl Bennett; running back Kevin Jones; defensive tackle Matt Toeaina; defensive end Ervin Baldwin; linebacker Darrell McClover, who has a hamstring injury; and cornerback Marcus Hamilton. Caleb Hanie is the third quarterback. Rideau replaced offensive tackle Fred Miller on the active roster when Miller was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a shoulder injury. The 6-foot-3, 198-pound wide receiver is in his fourth NFL season after entering the league with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2005, when he split time between their practice squad and active roster. Rideau joined the Bears in '06 and spent the season on the practice squad. He was signed to the Bears' 53-man roster on last Dec. 27 but was inactive for the regular-season finale.
